When choosing an apartment for a short-term stay in Kyiv, it is worth considering not only the location and facilities, but also the floor. Second-floor apartments can be a practical option for guests who want to be less dependent on elevators during possible power outages and reach the underground parking area more quickly.
Why the second floor can be convenient
As a result of attacks on Kyiv’s energy infrastructure, power outages may occur from time to time. When there is no electricity, the elevator may temporarily be unavailable. In this situation, a second-floor apartment allows you to easily reach your accommodation by stairs, even with luggage.
For guests searching for “apartments in Kyiv on the second floor for daily rent”, this can be an important factor when choosing accommodation. Especially if you are planning to rent an apartment for 5 days, a week, or even longer.
Access to underground parking
A lower floor is also convenient when you need to quickly reach the underground parking area during an air raid alert.
All barasport city apartments are located in the same building at 36e Yevhena Konovaltsia Street in the Pecherskyi District of Kyiv. The building has underground parking, which can be used as a shelter during an air raid alert.
In such a situation, an apartment on the second or third floor allows you to reach the parking area more quickly by stairs. At the same time, the floor of an apartment does not guarantee safety during missile or drone attacks – during an air raid alert, follow current civil protection recommendations.
